Critique is Storee Wryter's best friend. She sits in her lap when she is reading and writing and thinking what ifs. Critique understands that's what writers do when starting to create a new story. Critique's approval is very important to Storee. You can tell that by her name. For writers the word "critique" means to offer helpful suggestions to make the story better.
Some people think it means "to criticize" and that sounds like being mean but Critique is never mean. She does get a little grouchy sometimes but she gets over it quickly if someone gives her a nice long scratch under her chin.
Storee named her Critique because she knew her very special cat would be her inspiration to do always do her very best work.
Sometimes Critique helps in other ways too. Like when Storee was trying to teach Addie to sit on command. The poor dog was having a terrible time learning that lesson until Critique decided to show her how it was done.
But, that's how it is for everyone. Some things are easy to learn and other things take a bit longer. It's nice have a patient friend around to help at times like that, isn't it?
Critique believes that cats are much smarter than dogs. Do you believe that? If you do, or even if you don't, Storee wants to hear what you have to say. To send her an email telling her what you think click here.
